Senior Retail Assistant

This is a hands on role assisting the Retail & Catering Manager in their Retail & Front of House duties.

Assistant Catering Manager
We are now looking for a hands-on operator, proactive and natural leader with a real passion for their job to assist the Operations Manager in managing a team of 12 staff. As Assistant Catering Manager you will bein an operational position working alongside your team members so emphasis will be on teamwork as well as motivating through leading by example.
You must be financially aware as you will have responsibility and input into writing budgets, controlling costs and maximising sales throughout the business. Innovation and a flare for developing sales opportunities welcomed.
It would be advantageous, although not essential, for candidates to have previous management experience from within the hospitality industry and knowledge of Margins / Cost of Sales. For ambitious supervisors this would represent the ideal opportunity to develop your already gained knowledge and skills.
A full time post which involves working 5 days a week and would incorporate some weekends and Bank Holidays and includes rota based Duty Manager responsibilities. The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our Photos & Retail Team within our amazing Theme Park. Are you looking for a challenge? Have you got what it takes? Our aim is to create a fantastic experience by ensuring that our shops are fully operational and that targets are achieved on a daily basis. You will liaise with the General Manager to ensure total success of the Parks selling operation as part of your day to day role. It would be your responsibility to motivate and lead a team of Selling Stars, in a fast moving and customer orientated environment. You will be responsible for motivating the team to ensure outlets are running smoothly and to their full potential. You will be required to actively encourage guest interaction by the team. Contracts run from March 2010 to Oct 2010.
The Requirements
Previous experience of leading a team would be beneficial in this role. You will need to understand how to motivate and gain respect from your team members and drive them to achieve targets and deliver guest satisfaction. You will also be expected to manage all aspects of day to day leadership from leading briefings, organising rotas and monitoring performance etc.
You need to be able to demonstrate a clear commitment to achieving high standards of guest service and have experience that backs this up. You will need to take responsibility and ownership of working to targets and delivering high quality guest experience, while driving your team to do the same. You will also have to be an excellent communicator, have an outgoing personality and be sales driven.

The Role
This is an excellent opportunity to be part of the product selling team within our amazing Theme Park. Do you have the flair to sell? Have you got an outgoing personality? Do you like being centre of attention? Have you got what it takes? Our Aim is to create an incredible experience for our guests by offering an exciting range of products from a souvenir ride photo's to balloons and wet weather ponchos. You will be part of a highly motivated team that drives sales in doors and outdoors in various locations across the park.
We are serious about giving our guests a fun day out so we will need outgoing confident people to effectively communicate with the guests whilst having fun in a professional manner. Customer service is our prime focus so the role incorporates positive guest interaction along with upselling a wide range of products. Contracts run from March 2010 to October 2010.

You will need cash handling skills, be target driven and have a real passion for sales and guest service. You may have a performance background and possess excellent selling skills - full training will be provided. Ultimately it's your great approach to guests we're looking for. Operations Supervisor

The Role
This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a management role as a key part of the Operations Team within our amazing Park.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be tasked with motivating and leading seasonal team members from Ride Operators to Welcome Cashiers. You should deliver the highest standard of health and safety for any passengers or employees on our rides. You will also lead the team to provide the highest standard of guest services whilst also maintaining our strict safety policies. Hours of work vary according to Park opening hours and flexibility is required to meet our business needs. Contracts run from March 2010 to October 2010.
The Requirements
Previous supervisory experience would be beneficial and experience in any fast moving guest service environment. As safety is of key importance, you will be fully trained in providing guests with both a fun and safe visit. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of the Ride Operations team within our amazing Theme Park. You will be there to push the buttons that bring the place to life! Working as part of a dynamic team you will operate the rides and attractions. You will be responsible for the safety of any passengers or employees on the ride. Your focus will be on delivering incredible guest service whilst also maintaining our strict safety policies. Some light cleaning duties are also involved. Although you don't need any specific experience, previous guest service experience will stand you in good stead.
