New For 2007 - Seahorse Ranch
Seahorses have both amazed and enchanted humans since Classical times.
This innovative display is home to dozens of seahorses offering visitors the chance to observe these magical fish and the fascinating way they interact both with each other and their marine environment.
Our aquarists are proud of their success in breeding endangered seahorse species and are currently taking part in a nationwide programme to try and help conserve populations of native British seahorses. All our captive bred babies are reared separately and if you are lucky you will see them in the Blue Reef Nursery.
New for 2007 - Blue Reef Beach Club
Plus don't forget your towel and a bucket and spade to make the most of the amazing new outdoor Blue Reef Beach Club - Sandy Beach and Splash Play zone incorporating a wet play area for children complete with fountains, water cannons and giant showers.
Other features include a giant man-made sandy beach, a covered picnic area, grassed sundecks, a pirates' bridge, stepping stones and a variety of other fun activities.
