FAQs

Are you open?

Yes! We are now open daily! 10.00 – 17:30 (Last admissions 17:00)

Do I need to prebook / book a day and timeslot?

No. Due to the size and nature of the aquarium building we are not able to allocate day or timeslots. Booking online is not essential and you are welcome to pay on the gate. Online bookings are non-refundable but can be redeemed within 6 months from day of purchase.

Are you limiting visitors numbers into the Aquarium?

Yes. To help with social distancing, we currently limit the number of visitors inside the Aquarium. As such, we operate a one-in one-out policy. We occasionally experience queues during peak periods and ask for your patience.

What precautions have been put in place for Covid19?

Our priority throughout the pandemic has been to provide a safe and healthy working environment for our visitors, staff and animals. As such, we have put several precautions in place:
👍 Face coverings are encouraged but are at the discretion of visitors when visiting the aquarium 👍
Hand sanitiser is available throughout the aquarium 👍 We are limiting the number of visitors inside the aquarium at any one time. 👍 👍 We have suspended our reptile handling sessions

Do you accept Tesco Vouchers?

Yes. We accept Tesco Clubcard Reward Partner codes for walk up tickets.  On arrival, show the Reward Partner code on your phone or in a clearly printed email to redeem the value against the ticket cost. Please note that you can’t use codes to pay for e-tickets or in conjunction with any other offer.

How long does it take to go around the Aquarium?

It depends! We generally recommend 30 to 1 hour. Some visitors spend up to 2 hours inside watching all of the feeds and talks. however, if you’re being led about by an excited toddler, 20 minutes is more suitable!

I have an annual membership. Will it be extended in line with the lockdown period?

For any membership enquiries, please email [email protected] including the name and postcode with which the account was registered with.
