The o’fish’al re-opening to Blue Reef Aquarium Saturday 4th July went swimmingly and the attraction is delighted to welcome visitors once again.
With all new safety measures now tried and tested, visitors big and small can enjoy the aquarium’s hundreds of aquatic creatures in confidence.
Steve Matchett, General Manager at Blue Reef Aquarium said: “Our small team have worked so hard to get the aquarium ready to re-open under testing circumstances and I couldn’t be more proud of them all.
“It’s also been great for the fish to see new faces after over 100 days of being closed – they enjoy watching us as much as we do them!” Steve added.
On visiting, everyone will need to adhere to the Aquarium’s strict safety measures including following a one way journey and making use of the regular hand sanitising stations provided. Visitors will see enhanced cleaning, new hygiene screens and increased signage including floor markings so social distancing can be easily observed when visiting. Blue Reef Aquarium Newquay is open to the public 10am-6pm with last entry at 5pm 5 days per week, closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Tickets can be purchased online in advance at a discounted rate here or simply purchased on arrival.
