May 12, 2021
We are pleased to announce that we have been given permission to re-open the aquarium from Monday 17th May 2021, following government guidance for Covid-19 measures.
General Manager, Steve Matchett commented: “the team and I are so excited to re-open and welcome visitors and members back to Blue Reef Aquarium. It’ll be a very proud moment to see people enjoying the attraction again after such a long time!”
Blue Reef Aquarium Newquay is open daily 10am-5pm (last entry 4pm) and has full Covid-19 safety measures in place.
Visitors MUST pre-book tickets online ahead of their visit. This system is in place so we can monitor site capacity, allowing visitors to safely remain distanced during their time with us.

Any unused admission tickets that expired during site closure have been extended and are now valid any one date within 12months from date of purchase. However, as we have now introduced a dated ticket system, visitors using these tickets should contact us to book their chosen day prior to their visit on [email protected] quoting their booking confirmation code (starting NEW-COL-)
Annual Pass holders do not require to book, but we do request that they avoid busier periods.
We look forward to welcoming you!
