Elf of the Shelf goes on a day visit to the Aquarium! We have some very cheeky elves around the aquarium at this time of year. See if you can spot the naughty elves up to mischief during your visit in the lead up to Christmas! (Unfortunately, the elves do have to return to the North Pole come Christmas Eve, as they have some extremely important tasks to complete for Santa!)
12 Days of Christmas Trail! Keeps your eyes peeled for the clues, running until 3rd January 2022…will you spot all 12 Days of Christmas as you visit all the wonderful wildlife around the shores of our tanks in the aquarium? Don’t forget to snap a photo and tag us in social media…our fish love joining in with your festive fun! @BlueReefAquariumNewquay
Our fish get festive! Of course, Fishmas would not be complete at Blue Reef Aquarium Newquay without the fish getting involved. They’ve started getting their tanks ready for the big day, can you spot their fishy decorations baubling about?
Christmas Day Treat Feeds! Who has started indulging in the festive food? A mince pie here, a glass of mulled wine there? We just couldn’t resist and have been treating some of our tanks to our favourite Christmas Day treats! So don’t be alarmed if you see a Brussel spout or two hanging in the Amazon tank. And on the plus side, we humans may gain a pound or two over the festive period, whereas our Christmas Day treats create great enrichment for our animals.

Can’t visit the aquarium over the festive period? Don’t worry…we understand that everyone has lots of plans around Christmas time. But why not purchase your tickets as a Christmas treat…you have 6 months to use your ticket!
