Blue Reef Newquay is home to hundreds of different types of sea creatures, all showcased in our 40 themed habitats. When you visit us, you’ll be taken on a journey from right here on the Cornish coast, to exotic seas in faraway lands.

Come face to fin with freshwater turtles, meet our creepy caiman and check out our displays of funky fish from all over the world.

Not only will you learn all about the different types of creatures found on our local coastline, you’ll also get to experience what it’s like to be under the sea by taking a walk through our underwater tunnel – don’t worry though, you won’t need your swimsuit!

Our tunnel runs right through our ocean tank at the heart of the aquarium, giving you up close views of what life is like on the reef, and the creatures that call it their home. You’ll see shoals of colourful fish, and you may even spot a reef shark lurking in the depths.
